Breaking News - Regatta Manager basic version now available for no license fee!
As a service to
yachting, RTS SYSTEMS has made Regatta Manager available totally free of charge.
The unlicensed
software has the all the core functionality required for scoring and there is no
limit on e.g. the number of events or results. The only restriction is the
unlicensed software does not have networking capability and will only connect to
a database on the same PC.

Overview
Regatta Manager is an advanced scoring and results management system for club racing, regattas and single races.
The objectives of Regatta Manager are the “automated and paperless sailing club” and “reduction of volunteer effort”. A full rollout of Regatta Manager provides electronic nomination by PC, acquisition of finish times at sea using the optional Palm PC software, hot-synch of results to the database on-shore and comprehensive results printed and available on your web site in minutes. Multiple PCs running Regatta Manager on the network can view and operate upon the results simultaneously.

Unlimited number of classes, divisions, events, yachts and sailors.
Unlimited number of races in a single event.
SQL Server database (license required) or Microsoft Desktop Engine (MSDE) which is a free download from Microsoft.
MySQL database coming soon.
Multiple PCs can access the same data simultaneously across the local area network.
Automatic calculation of results for a boat in both class and division by entry of it’s finish time.
Across- the line, handicap, yardstick & division+handicap results together with progressive results for each.
Automated back-calculated handicaps or manual handicaps.
Field-picker function to allow all data views to be configured by the user.
Integrated .HTML, CSV and .EXCEL reports for all data views.
PDF reports coming soon.
Complete web site results for an event generated.
Electronic race nomination
Weather Station (requires Peete Bros Ultimeter )
Remote weather station display allows multiple PCs on the network to display the wind speed & direction.

If you do not already have Microsoft SQL Server then Microsoft Desktop Engine (MSDE) is required, this is a 43 Mb download from Microsoft, see the instructions for the link to this download.
Licensing
The unlicensed
software has the core functionality required for scoring but is limited to use on a single PC.
A registration key is required for the licensed version which includes functionality for
Regatta Manager operation on multiple PCs on a network simultaneously using a single database server

Weather Station (requires Peete Bros weather station)

As Regatta Manager is continually under development, updates are regularly available by download at no cost.

Regatta Manager is a “work in progress”. RTS SYSTEMS policy is to be responsive to the requests of users by developing new functionality requested, generally at no charge as the functionality of the product is enhanced by new features. Enhancements then become available to all users by download.
On-site
installation and configuration is available on request as is preparation of a
startup database to suit your club’s operation.
